Large-dimension firestop collars for surface mounting. They have been tested according to the EN 1366-3 standard and offer fire resistance of up to 120 minutes in solid walls and floors. These large-dimension collars feature a stainless steel body and a practical closing system to simplify their installation.

The MG2-AXL firestop collar is surface-mounted on the wall or floor around a large-diameter plastic pipe (PVC, HDPE, ABS). A wall requires a collar on each side, while a floor only requires a collar on the underside.

When the flammable conduits catch fire, openings appear in the floor or wall, allowing the fire to spread. The firestop collars prevent this spread by expanding under the effect of heat, ensuring a refractory sealing of these openings.
